Wilbur F. Walk Jr., 90 (April 26, 1923 - April 2, 2014), Tipton, died Wednesday at UPMC Altoona.
He was born in Tyrone, son of Wilbur F. Sr. and Bertha A. (Richards) Walk.
He married Pearl Mertiff on Sept. 13, 1941.
Surviving are his wife; two sons: Wilbur F. III (Nancy) in Texas and David (Virginia) of Duncansville; a daughter, Peggy Jo Sky-Eagle (Ted) in Texas; three grandchildren; four great-granddaughters; and two sisters: Phyllis Walk and Anna L. Hunsicker, both of Tyrone.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. today, April 4, 2014, at Derman Funeral Home Inc., Tyrone.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 5, 2014, at Blair Memorial Park Chapel, the Rev. Peggy J. Bonsell officiating.
