Kind of a ho-hum day. Not too much to write home about.
Worked, actually took a quick short nap immediately after - when I originally wanted to go and see FBCHA at Tomball Concordia Lutheran in high school volleyball - and then made my way to the gym.
Although, had one of the most annoying things happen to me: somebody got on the elliptical to the left of me and they decided to talk to somebody on the phone.
I got to a convenient stopping point and moved to the stationary bike. I tire very easily of people that are just inconsiderate of others.
I go in, put my Kindle up on the machine and read while I work out. Bother nobody, then get out and go home.
Walked 1.8 miles tonight, but am still not back to my normal pace as I'm working this muscle tightness on the inside of my knee out.
I have a chiropractor appointment on Wednesday. Have been making a ton of progress. The next test will be to go for a run.
Looking forward to the weekend already. Not sure what that says; however, I will be announcing a 5K on Labor Day over in Port Neches.
I haven't announced anything since March. It won't take too long to get back in the groove, but I have a busy fall planned with both road races and cross country meets.
I've got scheduled football games to go to on Thursday and Friday in Navasota and Cypress, well maybe its Bridgeland.
Waco Live Oak Classical School and Conroe Covenant Christian play in Navasota and Cypress Christian School hosts Houston The Village School on Friday as they open up a new stadium.
I also wrote for credentials for the Catholic Bowl V that is to be played in Choctaw Stadium - the old Ballpark at Arlington - two weeks from Saturday.
Am targeting maybe going over to Lake Charles, Louisiana on Saturday to see a game at McNeese State for a new stadium, but who knows.
I've also never seen a game at Texas State. They are at home. Haven't even looked at the weather there. Will figure out something to be out of the house this weekend.
I dislike being here inside for too long, especially after working 40 hours a week on a computer. It is something I need to focus on changing in the weeks and months to come.
It's been a long journey - almost two years now in mid-October - since I went through the workforce reduction from Dedalus; however, I'm grateful to the organization that gave me an opportunity starting last July.
