That's My Girl, Part 9!

Two neat stories from the week.

She doesn't promote herself, nor tell anybody that she helps to lead worship.

We've talked many times about how she can be an influence to a young girl who may see her on the stage and that it may encourage them to be the best that they can be in Christ.

She told me that she saw a former student after the service that was now going to another school, but that there were two young girls - maybe first graders, she shared with - that said, "You sang so good!"

Now, she didn't feel better about herself from that, but rather that, "Yes, these young people pay attention."

The other was that a co-worker, who normally attends the earlier service, was watching the 11 a.m., saw her on there, and never knew that she helped lead worship.

But later remarked in the office during this week that she had seen her on there.

I'm grateful that she has the opportunity to serve and that people trust her heart, effort and abilities.
